At Franklin Square Hospital Center, we still are principally in the business of caring for people. Not only our patients, but also our greater community. This has and will always remain at the core of our vision, mission and values. Caring for people means offering services, which can best serve their health needs. Franklin Square is well known for its OBTLC program. Last year, we performed over 2,900 deliveries in our spacious, modern birthing facility within the new Women's Pavilion.

We have one of the busiest emergency rooms in central Maryland - more than 71,000 patients are treated annually. To accommodate our patients, we recently made several changes to our emergency department to ensure things run more smoothly and efficiently. The department now has a new management team of board certified physicians. Services have also been added or enhanced to help us better serve and meet the needs of our patients.
