2) Academic Tutoring
- In home, one on one tutoring for academic subjects
- Working with your child's strengths to help improve academic performance
- Teaching skills to be utilized across all academic areas
3) Executive Function Coaching
- What is Executive Functioning? Executive functions are the processes by which we make decisions, organize our thoughts and actions, and manage our time.
- Executive function coaching helps to teach strategies for time management, organization, study skills, and strategies for completing academic work more effieciently. A plan is developed based on the individual needs of the child and family.
4) Academic Programming
- After meeting with parent(s)/ guardians, and the school, a comprehensive plan is developed to improve upon academic skills. The plan is unique to each child's needs and data are compiled to assess the effectiveness of the plan.
5) Life Skills Training
- Depending on the needs of the child and family, a comprehensive plan is developed to improve independence with life skills both in the home and the community. Task analyses are conducted for each task, and visual supports are created to increase independence. Data are taken to assess the effectiveness of the plan.
6) Individual Social Skills Training
- One on one social skills training is provided in the home and/or community. Skills are taught on an individual basis to then be generalized into a larger group as the skills are mastered.
7) Visual Supports and Materials
- Custom visual supports are made and laminated (as needed) based upon individual needs. These supports can be used to help with academics, executive function coaching, academic programming, life skills training, and social skills training.
- Visual supports can also be made to help support behavior plans in the home (rules, expectations, rewards).
