Neurosurgeon, Baltimore Washington Medical Center
Dr. Solomon received his medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a residency and fellowship in neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, with additional training at the University Hospital Zurich in Switzerland and a focus in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Solomon is board certified and a member of the American Medical Association, as well as a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
He and Dr. Ben Carson are also co-founders of "Angels in the OR" - a non profit organization designed to financially assist patients who need surgery.
The Neurosurgery Program at Baltimore Washington Medical Center includes treatments for the brain, spinal column and nervous system. Surgeons are developing the multifaceted program to offer innovative treatments for brain tumors and disorders of the brain. BWMC neurosurgeons also partner with orthopedic and head and neck surgeons, providing patients with additional options when it comes to complex brain and spine care.
