Chairman, Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Donegan received his medical degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in infectious disease at Boston University Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Donegan is also an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Baltimore Washington Medical Center is the medical center’s newest addition. Opening in October 2009, the center will feature four labor and delivery rooms, two C-section rooms, a private whirlpool tub in each delivery room and a family lounge. The department will also feature an 18-bed secured Mother-Baby Unit with private rooms, a level II nursery and a satellite office of the University of Maryland’s Center for Advanced Fetal Care – a world class clinical and research facility dedicated to the care of the pregnant patient and the unborn baby’s family.
